You can delete your Sunsector account and all associated data at any time. Once we receive your request, we'll permanently delete your account and data within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account credentials (email, password hash)
- All saved properties, boundaries, structures, and tree data
- All sun maps you've generated and saved
- Your wishlist, plantings, and planner data (if you used these features)
- Email subscriptions and waitlist entries tied to your address
What we keep
- Transaction records required by tax law (purchase amount, date, transaction ID) — typically kept for 7 years. These do not include any other personal information.
- Anonymized aggregate analytics that cannot be traced back to you.
Request deletion
Submit your email below and we'll process the deletion request. You'll receive a confirmation email within one business day. If you don't have access to the email you signed up with, reach out to hello@sunsector.org and we'll verify your identity another way.
